Marriage Pact recently came to Fordham University for another year of matchmaking. The organization originated at Stanford University and has offered its services to the Fordham community, aimed at helping students find their soulmates.
"Rodrigue's Coffee House Amends Constitution to Condemn William Rodrigue"
Rodrigue’s Coffee House, or Rod’s, a Fordham University establishment, recently updated its constitution to address some issues that had been brought up by club members. On Sunday, they held a club meeting to discuss and amend the constitution, which ended with a majority vote of “yes,” allowing the new constitution to move to the next steps of ratification.
"FitzSimons Initiative Hosts Book Club"
Fordham University has started a new reading program as a part of the recently implemented FitzSimons Presidential Initiative on Civics and Civility. Students, faculty and administrators are invited to participate in reading groups starting in November and will discuss the book “I Never Thought of It That Way” by Monica Guzman.

President Tania Tetlow sent an email on Oct. 4 announcing the new implementation of an Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing at Fordham University. The committee, which will be composed of students, faculty members and alumni, was created to consider ethical issues and Jesuit Catholic values surrounding investments.
"Chemistry Researchers Create Air Filtration System"
A team in the chemistry department at Fordham University has been working for the past two years to create an air filtration system that would cleanse the air of contaminants without releasing harmful byproducts, as the current photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) systems can do.
